Discover an ADD-Friendly Approach to Conquering the Clutter & Procrastination that Prevents Lasting Happiness & Success
Does any of this sound familiar?
- Trying all of the popular organizing and time management strategies, only to end up more frustrated than you were before
- Wondering if you could have occasional amnesia, because you just can’t figure out how you manage to accomplish so little every day
- Procrastinating so much you’re always apologizing for being late
- Being teased by friends and family when you mention a new idea and they bring up the dozens of ideas and projects you’ve never completed
- Feeling embarrassed when people are coming over because of all the clutter strewn about your home and office
- Seeing big goals go unfulfilled year after year, buried by the challenges of day-to-day life

If so, you should know you’re not alone- and it’s not your fault. There are biological differences in the brains of people with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) that automatically make organization and time management difficult at best.
The good news is there IS hope. Your ADD doesn’t just provide challenges—it gives you unique talents and capabilities as well. And we can harness those qualities to craft strategies that fit you like a leather glove, so you can wake up to a neat, organized home every day and reach your goals with much greater ease.
A Passion for Helping Those with ADD
I’m Organizing Coach Deb Zechini and some of my greatest joys have come from working with clients who have ADD as a coach. Our sessions are often filled with stories, creativity and laughter as we work together to design the perfect solutions for them.
As a result, I’ve taken more than 80 hours of training with the ICD (Institute for Challenging Disorganization) on Chronic Disorganization, which focuses on the particular needs of people with ADD, to better understand the unique issues and stay up-to-date on the research, so I always have the latest information and strategies to help you better accomplish your goals.
I’ve also recently become one of the few certified Organizer Coaches in the country. Clients of Organizer Coaches get better results because we’re trained to listen for critical insights and keep you motivated throughout the process. I am specifically trained in coaching ADHD clients.
Even more important, we’re experts at pulling answers out of you, rather than pushing them onto you. That makes a BIG difference because the more involved you are in designing the solutions, the more effective they’ll be and the more likely you are to keep using them.
Finally, while earning my COC certification, I trained with two experts in helping people who are particularly challenged by organization--Denslow Brown, Master Certified Coach & Certified Professional Organizer Specializing in Chronic Disorganization and Cameron Gott, Professional Certified Coach specializing in ADHD Coaching.
So there’s no need to worry—no matter how “bad” you think you are at staying organized and managing time, I’m sure I can help!
How You Will Benefit From Our Work Together
Just getting started organizing is hard for those with ADD because the more clutter you have, the more overwhelmed you get. You may try to escape the overwhelm by immersing yourself in TV, leaving the house, gluing yourself to the computer, or even holing up in the one room that’s “not so bad.” But it just become a vicious cycle because avoiding the clutter only leads to more clutter–and overwhelm!
Staying focused on the organizing project is tough too because your brain is wired to react more strongly to impulses, moods, and other stimulating distractions like a ringing phone. As an Organizer Coach, I know these tendencies and have a toolbox of creative strategies to keep you focused on the task at hand.
For example…
- Springing to the finish line
- Turning the project into a game
- Turning on music to have some fun
- Dividing the project into “micro-moments”
Another trouble spot during organizing is decision-making. Struggling to decide whether to get rid of items and where to put the ones you’re keeping is a sure recipe for procrastination.
I will help you make those decisions and keep you on track. And rest assured, I will never force you to get rid of anything—the final decision about what to keep and what to dispose of is always yours.
Overall, we’ll work together to help you better understand how ADD is affecting your attempts to get organized, and even more important, find innovative solutions for your challenges. This includes:
- Analyzing your daily habits to see where they’re going awry—and recommending ways to build more productive ones
- Sharing practical approaches to ease the challenges of everyday life, as well as ADD-specific tips and resources to make organizing your time and stuff easier
- Evaluating what works and what doesn’t as we tap into your strengths, passions, needs and values to create fun, lasting solutions
- Leveraging our discoveries to build a tailor-made system of strategies and routines that will make life flow more smoothly for you
Finally, you never have to worry about feeling embarrassed around me. I’m here to support and encourage you—not to judge. (And believe me, no matter how messy you think your house is, I’ve seen worse!
